About LIOO Moving
Atlanta Movers Who Know the Routes, the Buildings, and the Clock
LIOO Moving is a licensed Georgia intrastate moving company based in East Point, dispatching crews across metro Atlanta — from intown highrises and walk-up apartments to suburban homes in Cobb, Fulton, and Clayton.
We run on a simple operating principle: a move goes smoothly when the crew already knows the loading dock rules, the elevator reservation window, and which corridor backs up at 4 p.m. That local knowledge is what we sell.
Our Story
How LIOO Moving Got Started
LIOO Moving was built around metro Atlanta’s real moving conditions, not a generic playbook. The company operates out of East Point, off Marketplace Boulevard near Camp Creek, which puts crews within a short run of I-285, I-85, and the airport corridor — the same arteries customers move along every day.
The work started with a recurring frustration: crews showing up to a Midtown tower without a reserved freight elevator, or to a Buckhead condo with no certificate of insurance on file, then losing two hours to access problems that planning would have solved. LIOO was structured to handle those details up front — COIs, elevator windows, dock reservations, and parking permits — before the truck leaves the yard.
Today LIOO Moving dispatches across Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, and Clayton counties, handling apartment moves, full households, and small commercial relocations with the same focus on access logistics and accurate timing.
How We Work
What Happens Before the Truck Arrives
Access Cleared First
Before move day we confirm freight elevator windows, dock or street-loading rules, COI requirements, and parking constraints — the items that most often stall a move.
Crew Sized to the Inventory
Two to six movers depending on volume, stairs, and carry distance. A third-floor walk-up and a ground-level townhome don’t get the same crew, and we price accordingly.
Honest Hourly Estimates
Local moves run hourly with a 2.5-hour minimum (3 hours on weekends, same-day bookings, and moves 25+ miles from downtown). We quote the realistic range for your bedroom count and access, not a lowball number that climbs on the invoice.
Protection on the Job
Pads, shrink wrap, and floor protection are standard. Released-value coverage is $0.60/lb; full-value protection is available if you want it elected before the job.
Why Customers Choose LIOO
Local Knowledge That Saves Hours
Most moving delays in Atlanta aren’t about lifting — they’re about access. A crew that doesn’t know a Midtown building requires a reserved freight elevator, or that a Grant Park bungalow street has no driveway and tight on-street parking, loses time you pay for by the hour.
LIOO dispatches from East Point with working knowledge of the corridors and building types across the metro: highrise condos off Peachtree, garden apartments along Roswell Road, and ranch-and-split-level housing stock through Cobb and south Fulton. That context is built into the estimate, the crew size, and the schedule.
