Packing Services Near You
Packing Services Atlanta
Not every move needs a full-service crew from door to door. Sometimes you need professional packers to handle the fragile items. Sometimes you need a loading crew for a truck you’ve already rented. Sometimes the route is handled — you just need the muscle.
LIOO Moving’s packing and labor services in Atlanta are built for exactly those situations. Hire what you need, skip what you don’t. All with the same trained crews, transparent pricing, and careful handling that applies to every LIOO move.

📦 Packing and Labor Services We Offer
📦 Packing Services
Our packers handle full homes, individual rooms, or just the fragile and high-value items — glassware, artwork, electronics, mirrors, and anything that requires professional handling. We supply packing materials or work with yours. Partial packing is available for customers who want to pack most items themselves but need help with specialty pieces.
✅ Why Professional Packing Matters
Improper packing is the most common cause of move-related damage. Boxes packed too light collapse under weight. Fragile items without proper cushioning crack or break in transit. Furniture without wrapping gets scratched by contact with other items. LIOO’s packers use the right materials and the right technique for every item type — and the difference shows up in condition at the destination.
Is this the right service
Is packing-only the right call?
Packing-only means we handle the boxing and protection while you — or a separate crew — handle the move itself. It fits when you want fragile, high-value, or whole-home packing done right but don’t need a door-to-door moving crew. You don’t need packing-only if:
- You want one crew to pack and move you. That’s a full-service local or long-distance move, booked together.
- You only need loaders for a truck or container you’ve arranged. That’s labor-only.
- You’re packing everything yourself and only want boxes. Moving-supply and hardware stores sell materials directly.
What packing-only doesn’t include: transport, loading a truck or container (that’s labor-only), or storage. We pack; the move is arranged separately or added as a full-service quote.
How a packing job runs
- Quick call or survey. We size the job — full home, a few rooms, or fragile-only — and match packers and materials.
- Materials. We bring boxes, paper, wrap, and tape, or work with materials you’ve already bought.
- Room by room. Heavier items in small boxes, fragile items cushioned and boxed on edge, every box labeled by room and contents.
- Fragile and high-value. Glassware, artwork, electronics, mirrors, and lamps get item-specific protection — dish packs, picture cartons, corner protection.
- Handoff. Boxes are staged for your movers — or ours — so load day runs faster.
What packing costs
Packing is billed hourly, using the same crew rates as our labor service:
- 2 packers — $140/hour
- 3 packers — $180/hour
2.5-hour minimum. Materials are billed separately or you can supply your own. Partial packing — you handle the easy items, we take the fragile and specialty pieces — keeps the hours down. For an exact figure, use the instant quote or call; the number depends on home size, how much is already boxed, and materials.
Packing questions, answered
Can you pack just the fragile items and leave the rest to me?
Yes — partial packing is common. We handle glassware, artwork, electronics, and mirrors while you box the everyday items, which keeps the hours and the cost down.
Do you supply boxes and materials, or do I?
Either. We bring boxes, paper, wrap, and tape, or we work with materials you’ve already bought. Materials are billed separately from labor.
Do you also move what you pack?
Packing-only covers the boxing and protection. If you want the same crew to move you, that’s a full-service local or long-distance move — we can quote both together.
How far ahead should I book packing?
For a full home, a few days to a week ahead is best, especially in spring and summer. Fragile-only jobs can often be scheduled sooner.
What does packing cost?
It’s hourly at our crew rates — $140/hour for two packers, $180 for three, with a 2.5-hour minimum — plus materials. The total depends on home size and how much is already boxed.
Can you unpack at the destination too?
Yes. Unpacking and debris removal can be added — tell us at booking so we schedule the hours.
